Yusuf’s Wolf

After Yaqub (PBUH) allowed his sons to take their brother, Yusuf (PBUH), they dumped him in well as per their plan. Allah told Yusuf that he will survive that ordeal, and one day his brothers will need him. In the evening, the brothers went back to their father crying, and told him that Yusuf was attacked by a wolf.
They presented him with Yusuf’s bloody shirt. Yaqub (PBUH) knew they were lying, as the blood is not Yusuf’s, and the shirt is not torn. He asked Allah for help to uncover the truth, and grant him the patience. Allah said:  (Then they returned to their father in the evening, weeping. They cried, “Our father! We went racing and left Joseph with our belongings, and a wolf devoured him! But you will not believe us, no matter how truthful we are.” And they brought his shirt, stained with false blood. He responded, “No! Your souls must have tempted you to do something ˹evil˺. So ˹I can only endure with˺ beautiful patience! It is Allah’s help that I seek to bear your claims.”)
