Became the Chairman of the Executive Council in December 2004
Became Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces in January 2005
Became the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Education Council-ADEC in September 2005; the council was renamed as Department of Education and Knowledge
Became the Ruler of Abu Dhabi on 13 May 2022
Became the President of the UAE on 14 May 2022.

On January 4th, 2006, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum became the Ruler of Dubai following the death of his brother Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum.On January 5th, the members of the Federal Supreme Council elected Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid as the UAE’s Vice President. The UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan nominated Sheikh Mohammed to serve as the Prime Minister and form a new government, and the members of the Supreme Council approved the nomination.

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain was born on October 1, 1952. He succeeded his father late Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla to the rule of the emirate, on January 2, 2009.  H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla received his elementary education in Umm Al Quwain and graduated from high school in Lebanon. In 1974, H.H. graduated from Cairo University, majoring in economics.

He received his education at Al Qasimiah elementary school and Al Siddiq high school in Ras Al Khaimah. He joined the American University of Beirut in 1973, then the University of Michigan, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics.

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammad Al Sharqi became the Ruler of the Emirate of Fujairah, after the passing away of his father, Sheikh Mohammad bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Sharqi, in 1974.  He supported the tourism sector by establishing tourism offices and government departments to promote Fujairahs position on the global tourism landscape.
HH held many roles among which are Chief of Police and Security in Fujairah, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries in the Unions first Cabinet formation of the UAE Federal Government, and Crown Prince of Fujairah.
